Sadly, all the remaining Jazz in the Afternoon concerts have been cancelled due to lack of support.

- Hi, I'm Diane and I work for the S.P.R.A. (Society for the Protection and Re-homing of Animals) which is an animal rescue charity based in Devon but working also in Somerset. As part of a programme of fund-raising events, and also being a music lover myself, I am promoting "Jazz in the Afternoon" - a series of jazz performances by world class musicians. These take place on Sunday afternoons at the Hobby Horse Inn on the seafront in Minehead and we have managed to arrange one every month until at least September 2008. I live in a small village outstide Minehead with my two sons, my devoted dog Ronnie and an assortment of chickens. I would love to hear from anyone who shares an interest in music (all kinds), animals, animal rescue, the beautiful Somerset countryside, Reiki or chickens!
